About Terre d'Azur
The story behind Terre d'Azur is one of a journey through southern Europe. Along dusty country roads to abandoned villages, searching for old tile factories that still produce tiles the old-fashioned way, by hand. Factories you'll search in vain for online or at trade fairs, because they operate exclusively in the local market. And whose term "factory" gives a far-too-modern image of the almost medieval way people still work there. In short: tiles that will quickly make you think of the warm words "authentic" and "honest." It's precisely this atmosphere that we want to convey in our tile line.
