Area of ​​application: Coba Grout CGM300 is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications and is suitable for grouting ceramic wall and floor tiles, (glass) mosaic and natural stone with joint widths ranging from 2 to 10 mm. This grout has been specially developed for use in rooms with underfloor heating, dries quickly, and after curing it provides a waterproof and slightly flexible joint. CGM300 is perfect for grouting tiling in both dry and wet areas.

Instructions for use: For optimal results, the surface must be clean and dry, without residues of mortar and glue. Only apply Coba Grout CGM300 after the mortar or adhesive has hardened sufficiently. Clean the tile surface thoroughly beforehand.

Processing: Mix 5 kg of Coba Joint Additive CGM300 with approximately 1.1 liters of clean tap water (for a 20 kg bag, add approximately 4.2 liters of water). Use a clean mortar tub or bucket and mix intensively for 1 minute with a suitable mortar mixer. Apply the grout with a grout rubber or grout trowel, filling the joints completely. Depending on the surface and tile suction, allow the grout to set before sponging the joints with a sponge board. Prevent puddles from forming in the joint during sponging to prevent color differences. Smoothing with a clean, wrung-out sponge gives the joint its final surface texture. Always use the prepared grout within 60 minutes. The processing temperature should be between 5°C and 25°C. If in doubt, always make a test piece or contact our technical advice department. Clean tools immediately after use with (warm) water.

Consumption: Consumption varies depending on tile size and joint dimensions, but is usually between 0.25 – 2 kg/m2.

Post-treatment - Drying: The curing time of Coba Grout CGM300 depends on environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, substrate and tile type. The joint is usually load-bearing after 24 hours and any haze can be removed with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid drying too quickly due to drafts and direct sunlight.
